The HPE P74694-B21 is an internal OCPA cable kit for the ProLiant Compute DL380a Gen12 server. It enables OCP Slot A (Slot 27), providing the PCIe Gen5 x8 or x16 bandwidth configuration needed to run an OCP 3.0 NIC or Type-o storage controller in that slot.

This kit is supplied at a default quantity of 1 in DL380a Gen12 factory configurations and can be deselected if OCP Slot A is not required. Companion kit P74696-B21 covers OCP Slot B (Slot 28), and the DL380a Gen12 supports up to two OCP cable kits per server.
