Description

The P72199-B21 ProLiant Gen12 optical disk drive USB to SATA signal cable kit connects an internal SATA optical drive to the USB interface of supported HPE ProLiant Compute Gen12 servers. It is required whenever an internal DVD-ROM or DVD-RW drive is selected, making it an essential companion for media bay builds.

The kit works with the Gen12 optical drive enablement options, such as the DL3XX Gen12 SFF Universal Media Bay Kit, and is designed for use with the HPE 9.5mm SATA DVD-ROM (726536-B21) and HPE 9.5mm SATA DVD-RW (726537-B21) drives. It is suited to the DL320, DL325, DL360, DL380 and ML350 Gen12 platforms.
