The HPE ProLiant DL3X5 Gen11 1P GPU 8SFF/EDSFF x4 PCIe Tri-Mode cable kit is designed for the ProLiant DL325 and DL345 Gen11 GPU configure-to-order server. It connects 8 SFF U.3 SAS, SATA or NVMe drives to PCIe storage controllers at x4 bandwidth using Tri-Mode cabling.

This kit is used when the 8SFF GPU backplane is paired with PCIe storage controllers and supports the 8 SFF NVMe Basic Carrier (BC) GPU drive cage option. Servers fitted with OCP controllers require the x2 OCP cable kit instead.
