This ProLiant DL3X5 Gen11 cable kit, 16EDSFF x2 PCIe Tri-Mode, connects the 16-drive EDSFF front backplane to an HPE SR932i-p storage controller. It is designed for ProLiant DL3X5 Gen11 EDSFF configure-to-order servers, including the DL325, DL345, DL365 and DL385 Gen11 platforms, and provides tri-mode PCIe cabling for up to 16 EDSFF drives.

The kit is supported on the EDSFF CTO model only and must be selected together with the SR932i-p controller. A maximum of one cable kit is supported per server, making it a straightforward addition when specifying an EDSFF storage build.
