The HPE ProLiant DL3X5 Gen11 GPU cable kit provides x4 PCIe storage controller connectivity to the 8SFF or 8EDSFF front drive cages on ProLiant DL365 and DL385 Gen11 GPU CTO servers. It supports tri-mode (SAS, SATA and NVMe) operation across 8SFF U.3 and 8EDSFF (E3.S) cages, giving GPU-configured servers full x4 bandwidth to each drive bay.

This kit is designed for PCIe controllers only and is intended exclusively for DL365 and DL385 Gen11 GPU CTO servers. It is not supported on non-GPU CTO chassis (8SFF, 12EDSFF or 48SFF). It is an alternative to the OCP x2 cable kit (P69868-B21) for 8SFF configurations where x4 connectivity is required.
