The ProLiant DL560 Gen11 direct attach cable kit connects 12 EDSFF x4 drives in drive box 2 of the server. It is specified for air-cooled, two-processor (2P) configurations and is the cabling option to select when building a DL560 Gen11 around EDSFF storage in that drive box.

A cage kit and direct attach cable must be selected to configure the system without any drives. In 2P configurations a maximum of 8 EDSFF drives per box is supported, and only boxes 2 and 3 are supported, so confirm your intended drive layout before ordering.
