Description

The P47230-B21 is an OCP1 enablement kit for the HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen11 tower server. It allows an x16 OCP NIC adapter to be installed in the Slot 14 (OCP 1) position and is required when the server is configured with a single processor.

The kit occupies the CPU 1 MCIO connector. The ML350 Gen11 supports a maximum of two OCP adapters, with Slot 14 as OCP 1 and Slot 15 as OCP 2. OCP-type RAID (OROC) controllers are supported only in Slot 14 and do not need this kit. A companion OCP2 enablement kit (P47231-B21) covers the Slot 15 position.
