Description

The FortiSandbox 1500G is a mid-range 1RU AI-powered sandboxing appliance for advanced threat analysis of malware and ransomware. This hardware appliance ships with 2 Universal VMs, expandable to 28 local or 120 cloud VMs, and includes 1xWin11, 1xWin10 and 1xOffice21 licences for immediate analysis of common document and executable threats.

Built on Fortinet's G Series platform, it provides 4 x GE RJ45 and 2 x 10GE SFP+ interfaces, 2 x 960 GB storage in RAID1 and redundant hot-swappable power supplies. It integrates with the Fortinet Security Fabric and third-party products, supports clustering of up to 99 worker nodes, and replaces the FortiSandbox 1000F and 2000E.

Warranty

Fortinet provides robust warranty coverage for its hardware and software products, with durations and terms based on product category:
• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
