Description

The FortiMail 2000F is a 2U rack-mount email security appliance built for large enterprise, education and government departments. It delivers multi-layer antispam and antivirus protection, Data Loss Prevention and centralised quarantine, with email routing of 1.6 million messages per hour and support for up to 1000 protected email domains. This configuration ships with 2x 2TB SAS drives (4TB total), dual AC power supplies, 4 x GE RJ45 ports and 2 x GE SFP slots.

Hardware resilience comes from dual redundant hot-swappable AC power supplies and hardware RAID with hot-spare support, with storage expandable to 6x 2TB drives. The appliance includes 32GB of memory and a Trusted Platform Module, and can also operate in email server mode with webmail, POP3/IMAP and calendaring. Optional Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace email API integration extends protection to cloud mailboxes.

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
