Description

The FortiGate 900G is a 1RU enterprise next-generation firewall for campus, data centre edge and access-layer security. Built on Fortinet's NP7 network processor and CP9 content processor, it delivers 22 Gbps of NGFW throughput and 20 Gbps of threat protection, with ultra-low-latency 25GE SFP28 ports for latency-sensitive traffic. This FG-900G model includes dual hot-swappable AC power supplies and has no onboard storage.

The unit combines 4x 25GE SFP28, 4x 10GE SFP+, 8x GE SFP and 17x GE RJ45 ports, plus a dedicated 2.5GE/GE HA port for high-availability clustering. It runs FortiOS with integrated NGFW, IPS, SSL inspection, SD-WAN and VPN capabilities, and includes an integrated TPM for hardware-based security.

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
