Description

The FG-700G is a 1RU enterprise next-generation firewall built on Fortinet's NP7 network processor and CP10 content processor, delivering 38 Gbps IPS and 29 Gbps NGFW throughput. This Dual AC PSU model has no onboard storage (the FG-701G variant adds 2x 480 GB SSD) and combines 4x 25 GE SFP28, 4x 10 GE SFP+ and 16x GE SFP slots with 8x RJ45 ports for high-density campus, data centre edge and large branch deployments.

FortiOS converges networking and security, with SD-WAN, IPsec and SSL VPN, and support for Fortinet's AI-powered security bundles with FortiCare Premium. A Trusted Platform Module, hardware-signed firmware, the FortiSentry hardware module and active-active, active-passive and clustering high availability suit it to resilient, security-focused enterprise networks.
