Description

The Fortinet FG-601E-USG is a 1RU enterprise next-generation firewall from the FortiGate 600E Series, designed for campus edge and data centre perimeter deployments. This USG (US government/TAA) variant delivers 9.5 Gbps NGFW throughput, 10 Gbps IPS throughput and 36 Gbps IPv4 firewall throughput, with 2x 10GE SFP+ slots, 8x GE SFP slots and 8x GE RJ45 ports, plus 2x SFP SX transceivers included in the box.

SPU NP6 and CP9 hardware acceleration offloads firewall, VPN and content processing, while the 2x 240 GB onboard SSD provides local storage for logging and reporting. FortiOS-based security with IPS, application control, SSL inspection and SD-WAN capabilities is supported, along with Active-Active, Active-Passive and clustering high availability modes and optional hot-swappable redundant power supplies.
