Description

The FG-601E is an enterprise-edge and campus next-generation firewall in a 1RU rack-mount chassis, built on Fortinet SPU (NP6 and CP9) hardware acceleration and FortiOS. It delivers 36 Gbps of firewall throughput, 10 Gbps of IPS throughput, 9.5 Gbps of NGFW throughput and 7 Gbps of threat protection throughput. This SKU adds 2x 240 GB onboard SSD storage over the FG-600E and ships with two SX SFP transceivers, so it is ready to connect to multimode fibre out of the box.

Interface density includes 2x 10GE SFP+ slots, 8x GE SFP slots and 8 hardware accelerated GE RJ45 ports, plus 2x GE RJ45 management ports. Secure SD-WAN, universal ZTNA, real-time SSL inspection including TLS 1.3, and FortiLink management of FortiSwitch are all delivered on a single FortiOS platform. Optional hot-swappable redundant power supplies and Active-Active, Active-Passive and clustering high availability support resilient deployments.

• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
