Description

The FortiGate 4401F-DC is a 4RU data centre and hyperscale next-generation firewall with 12 x 100GE/40GE QSFP28 slots and a high-density bank of 25GE/10GE SFP28 ports. SPU NP7 and CP9 hardware acceleration deliver 1.15 Tbps of IPv4 firewall throughput, 82 Gbps NGFW throughput and 310 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput. This DC variant is fitted with redundant hot-swappable -48V to -60V DC power supplies and 2x 2TB onboard SSD storage, making it suited to telco and carrier-grade facilities running DC power.

It supports up to 500 virtual domains, high availability clustering and an optional Hyperscale Firewall License that accelerates session setup and logging in hardware. Application control, IPS, SSL inspection and Threat Protection run on the same platform, and the hot-swappable fan tray and 1+1 power supplies support continuous operation in core network deployments.

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
