Description

The Fortinet FortiGate 401G is a 1 RU next-generation firewall appliance built for mid-range enterprise and campus edge deployments. It combines SPU NP7 and CP10 hardware acceleration with high-density connectivity, including 4 x 25GE SFP28, 4 x 10GE SFP+, 16 x GE SFP and 8 x 5GE RJ45 ports, delivering 164 Gbps of firewall throughput and 14 Gbps of NGFW throughput.

A 960 GB onboard SSD provides local storage for logging and reporting, while dual AC power supplies support resilient operation in a 1 RU chassis. The appliance runs FortiOS and integrates with the Fortinet Security Fabric, with support for IPS, application control, hardware-accelerated IPsec VPN and SSL inspection. It can manage up to 512 FortiAPs and 96 FortiSwitches.

Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
