Description

The FG-3001F is a 2U FortiGate 3000F enterprise next-generation firewall built for large enterprise and service provider core networks. It provides 6x 100GE QSFP28 slots and 16x 25GE SFP28 slots, backed by NP7 network processor and CP9 content processor hardware acceleration, with IPv4 firewall throughput of up to 397 Gbps and NGFW throughput of 34 Gbps. This SKU is the AC power model with 2x onboard SSD storage, which the FG-3000F does not include.

Beyond the high-speed fibre interfaces, it adds 16x 10GE RJ45 ports and 2x management ports, hot-swappable redundant AC power supplies and an onboard TPM. Active-Active, Active-Passive and clustering high availability, plus support for up to 500 virtual domains, make it suited to segmenting and protecting high-throughput data centre and core environments.

Warranty

Fortinet provides robust warranty coverage for its hardware and software products, with durations and terms based on product category:
• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
