Description

The Fortinet FAP-231G-N is an enterprise-class indoor Wi-Fi 6E access point with three radios covering 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and a flexible 5 GHz/6 GHz/scanning radio, delivering 2x2 MU-MIMO with aggregate radio rates of up to 574 Mbps, 1201 Mbps and 2402 Mbps. The -N regional variant is built for the US/North America regulatory domain and uses four internal antennas for a clean, ceiling or wall-mounted deployment.

A 100/1000/2500 Base-T RJ45 PoE port provides multi-gigabit uplink and power, backed by a second 10/100/1000 RJ45 port for PoE diversity and an RJ45 console port. An integrated BLE radio and a scanning-capable radio support location services and RF security monitoring, and the access point is managed by a FortiGate wireless controller or FortiCloud. Availability of the 6 GHz band depends on the regulatory domain.
