Description

The Fortinet FAP-231K-N is an indoor Wi-Fi 7 tri-band access point with three radios covering the 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz bands in a 2+2+2 configuration with 2 spatial streams. It suits enterprise offices, campuses and other high-density indoor deployments that need modern Wi-Fi 7 capacity alongside a multi-gigabit wired uplink. This -N regional variant includes the ceiling/wall mount kit and uses internal antennas for a clean, low-profile installation.

The access point provides a 100/1000/2500/5000 Base-T RJ45 port, Bluetooth/BLE and an RS-232 RJ45 serial console port. A PoE injector is not included in this SKU, so an 802.3at PoE source must be supplied separately.

• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
