Description

The FortiADC 1000G is a 1U hardware application delivery controller delivering up to 50 Gbps of L4/L7 throughput. It combines advanced L4-L7 load balancing, ASIC-based SSL acceleration, global server load balancing and built-in web application security in a single appliance. Networking is covered by 8x10G RJ45 and 12x10G SFP+ ports, backed by 64 GB of memory and a 480 GB SSD, with dual hot-swap power supplies for resilient data centre deployments.

The 1000G supports up to 60 virtual domains for multi-tenant environments, TLS 1.3 offloading with 35 Gbps of bulk encryption throughput, and VRRP high availability using dedicated HA interfaces. Fabric connectors and DevOps tooling such as REST API, Ansible and Terraform make it straightforward to integrate into automated application delivery workflows.

Warranty

Fortinet provides robust warranty coverage for its hardware and software products, with durations and terms based on product category:
• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
