The Aruba AP-AC-MLX is an outdoor-rated Molex AC power connector kit designed for field assembly of AC power cables on HPE Aruba 580 Series outdoor access points, including the AP-584, AP-585, and AP-587. Sold separately from the access point, it allows installers to select their own cable length on-site and terminate it with a weatherproof Molex AC connector — ideal for outdoor deployments where pre-terminated cables are impractical.

The kit includes an M25 cable gland with O-ring, gland body, seals, clip, and sealing nut, providing a secure, weatherproof seal rated for harsh outdoor environments. It supports UV-resistant, outdoor-rated three-wire AC cable (18 AWG) with an outer diameter of 6–12mm. Compatible across all regional variants of the Aruba 580 Series.
