Description

The NetShelter SX 42U Nexus 7018 side airflow duct kit lets a 42U NetShelter SX 1200 mm deep networking enclosure house a Cisco Nexus 7018 switch chassis. Tested and approved by Cisco, it manages side-to-side airflow so the switch draws cold air at its intake, helping maintain proper intake temperatures and extending equipment life in power-dense racks.

The kit isolates hot and cold aisles by delivering cold air to the equipment intake, and allows side-to-side airflow equipment to be placed anywhere in the data centre. It is designed to work with NetShelter enclosures and supports overhead cable troughs, partitions and AR8444 fibre spools. Large roof cable access slots and an open bottom design keep cable egress unobstructed, whether overhead or through a raised floor.
