A: Yes. Each end of the cable supports DDM via the SFF-8472 interface, exposing temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, transmit optical power, and receive optical power. A: Each SFP+ connector draws approximately 0.8W, so a complete cable consumes around 1.6W total.
