This dual-rate SFP28 transceiver provides plug-and-play compatibility with Cisco SFP28 ports, supporting both 10G and 25G operation without hardware changes. - IEEE 802.3by compliance guarantees 25G Ethernet interoperability, with backward compatibility to 10GBASE-CSR - SFP28 form factor, dual-rate 10.3 Gbps and 25.78 Gbps, 850nm VCSEL wavelength, multi-mode fibre - Reach: 300m over OM3, 400m over OM4 at both 10G and 25G, 70m over OM2 at 25G, 82m over OM2 at 10G - RS-FEC required on host ports for full 300m/400m reach at 25G; BASE-R FEC supports 70m/100m over OM3/OM4; no FEC required at 10G - Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) support via I2C interface for real-time parameter monitoring - LC duplex connector, hot-pluggable, commercial temperature range 0 to 70°C
