Both require 12-fibre MPO ribbon cable terminated with MPO female connectors. Actual reach depends on fibre quality, connector loss, and link budget conditions.

A: Yes. Each of the four lanes is compliant with IEEE 10GBASE-SR specifications. Using a 12-fibre parallel-to-duplex breakout cable, this module can connect to four separate 10GBASE-SR interfaces, with each lane supporting up to 100m on OM3 or 150m on OM4 fibre, subject to platform support for breakout configuration.

Q: What diagnostic parameters are available via DDM?
A: The SFF-8436 compliant DDM interface provides real-time monitoring of transmit optical power, receive optical power, module temperature, transmit bias current, and supply voltage for each lane.
