Description

The Palo Alto Networks Prisma SD-WAN ION 3200 is a hardware-only SD-WAN branch edge appliance with 1.5 Gbps maximum throughput, built for enterprise small branch and data centre deployments. It combines 8 x 10/100/1000Mbps RJ-45 ports with 2 x 1Gbps RJ-45/SFP combo ports and integrated wired LAN switching, and runs Prisma SD-WAN with a FIPS 140-2 encryption baseline. This is the standard, non-regulated hardware model.

PoE is available on ports 7 to 10 with a 90W system budget, so the ION 3200 can power IP phones, cameras, access points or cellular gateways directly. The fanless design suits quiet branch environments, and the device supports zero-touch deployment with cloud-managed Prisma SD-WAN. Prisma SD-WAN subscription licensing is sold separately.

Warranty

Palo Alto Networks offers standard warranty coverage for both its hardware and software products to ensure reliability and peace of mind.
• Hardware Warranty: All Palo Alto Networks hardware is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of shipment. This warranty follows a return-and-repair service model. If a hardware issue occurs within this period, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will be issued to facilitate the repair or replacement process.
• Software Warranty: Palo Alto Networks software carries a 90-day warranty, which includes access to all applicable updates, bug fixes, and feature upgrades during that time. Updates can be downloaded through the device interface or via the secure support portal, accessible upon account creation and device registration.
These warranties provide baseline protection and access to critical updates but do not include advanced support or next-business-day hardware replacement.
