Description

The ISD-1210-T is a DIN-rail mounted RS-232 serial surge protector that delivers IEC 61643-21 C2 20 kV protection for serial data lines. It shields modems, terminals, I/O ports and instrumentation from transient surges, and supports baud rates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps with a terminal block connection.

Built for industrial environments, it features a compact metal IP30 housing measuring 95 x 53 x 25 mm and operates across -40 to 85°C. It protects the TxD, RxD, RTS, CTS and GND signals, and installs plug and play. It is the RS-232 model in the ISD-1210-T/1230-T range.
