Description

The Moxa ISD-1130-T is an entry-level data line surge protector for 4-wire RS-422/485 serial links, with terminal block connectors for straightforward field wiring. It provides EN 61000-4-5 Level 4 (4 kV) signal surge protection to shield terminals, I/O ports, modems, hubs and instrumentation from transient damage, and supports 2-wire RS-485 and 4-wire RS-422/485 signalling at baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps.

This plug-and-play unit uses a compact IP30 plastic housing measuring 53 x 37 x 20.6 mm and weighs just 30 g, so it fits easily into control cabinets and desktop installations. Its wide operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C suits harsh industrial and outdoor-adjacent environments. For RS-232 links, the sibling ISD-1110-T is the matching model.
