Description

The Moxa EDF-G1002-BP-CT/KC is an industrial next-generation LAN firewall with two Gigabit LAN ports and one management port, built for securing operational technology networks. It combines an Intrusion Prevention System with OT-protocol Deep Packet Inspection and Gen3 bypass, delivering up to 1000 Mbps of firewall throughput. This variant is rated for -10 to 60°C operation and features conformal-coated circuitry for harsh environments.

Deep Packet Inspection covers industrial protocols including Modbus TCP/UDP, DNP3, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850 MMS, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA and Siemens S7. The compact metal housing mounts on a DIN-rail or wall, runs from redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC inputs, and can be managed centrally through MXsecurity.
