Description

The Moxa EDF-G1002-BP-CT is an industrial LAN firewall with two Gigabit copper ports and a dedicated Ethernet management port, built to protect OT network edges. It combines an Intrusion Prevention System with deep packet inspection of industrial protocol data, and Gen3 LAN bypass keeps traffic flowing if the unit faults. This variant is rated for -10 to 60°C operation and features conformal coating for added protection in harsh environments.

The firewall installs bump-in-the-wire without disrupting the existing network, and supports up to 120K concurrent connections. It mounts on a DIN rail or wall in a metal housing, and is managed locally via web console, SSH and SNMP or centrally through MXsecurity. Secure Boot and a one-click firewall policy misconfiguration check help maintain system integrity.
