Description

The DRP-A100 DIN-rail industrial computer is built around a quad-core Intel Atom x6425E processor running at 2 GHz, with 8 GB of DDR4 memory pre-installed. This fanless model supplies four Gigabit LAN ports and six software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports, and is supplied without an operating system. It runs from a 12/24 VDC input and is rated for -30 to 60°C operation, making it well suited to field deployments, industrial automation and data acquisition in cabinets and control panels.

Storage is handled by a CFast slot and an SD slot, with a free SODIMM slot supporting memory expansion up to 32 GB. Video is available through HDMI 2.0b and VGA outputs, with three USB 3.0 ports for peripherals and a TPM v2.0 module for platform security. Driver support covers Windows 11, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and several Linux distributions, and the compact metal housing mounts directly to a DIN rail.

Q: Does the DRP-A100-E4-2L4C-T come with an operating system?
A: No. This SKU is supplied without an operating system. Moxa provides driver support for Windows 11 Professional, Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021, Debian 12 and 11, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and RHEL 9.

Q: What power supply does it need?
A: It accepts a 12/24 VDC input through a screw-fastened Euroblock terminal, with power consumption of up to 50 W. A suitable DC power supply is required.

Q: Can the serial ports be configured for RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485?
A: Yes. All six DB9 male serial ports are software-selectable between RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485, with baud rates from 50 bps to 115.2 kbps.

Q: Can the memory be upgraded?
A: Yes. The unit ships with 8 GB of DDR4 and has one SODIMM DDR4 slot, supporting up to 32 GB.

Q: What storage options are available?
