Description

The Moxa CP-602U-I is a 2-port CAN bus interface board for the Universal PCI bus, built for industrial PCs that need reliable Controller Area Network connectivity. It provides two independent CAN ports on DB9 male connectors with 2 kV optical isolation, supports CAN 2.0A and CAN 2.0B, and handles transfer rates up to 1 Mbps. This variant is supplied without cable and operates across a 0 to 55°C temperature range.

Each port uses an NXP SJA1000 CAN controller with a PCA82C251 transceiver, and a jumper-selectable 120 ohm terminator resistor simplifies bus termination. Status LEDs show transmit and receive activity per port, and a Windows driver with a DLL library and examples is provided to speed up application development. Up to four boards can be installed in a single PC.
