Description

The Moxa CP-118U-I is an 8-port RS-232/422/485 Universal PCI serial board with 2 kV optical isolation, built for POS, ATM and industrial automation systems that need dependable multiport serial connectivity. It connects through a DB78 female connector, supports up to 921.6 kbps per port and operates across a 0 to 55°C temperature range.

The board uses a 32-bit Universal PCI interface compatible with 3.3 V and 5 V PCI and PCI-X slots, and up to 8 boards can be installed in a single PC. Drivers are provided for Windows, Linux and UNIX, with WEPOS also supported for embedded integration, and built-in LEDs and management software simplify day-to-day maintenance.
