Description

The Moxa CA-132I-T is a PC/104 serial board with 2 RS-422/RS-485 ports and 2 kV optical isolation, built for embedded and industrial computing platforms. This wide-temperature variant is rated for -40 to 85°C operation, making it suited to harsh or unconditioned enclosures where standard boards would not survive. Each port supports baudrates from 50 bps up to 921.6 kbps over a 20-pin box header connector.

The board uses two 16C550C-compatible UARTs with 64-byte FIFOs, supports RS-485 2-wire and 4-wire with automatic data direction control, and includes Tx and Rx LED indicators for each port. I/O address and interrupt are set by DIP switches, and up to 8 boards can be installed in a single PC. Driver support covers Windows CE 5.0/6.0 and Windows XP Embedded.
