Description

The Moxa CA-114 is a 4-port RS-232/422/485 PC/104 multiport serial board that adds software-selectable serial connectivity to PC/104 CPU boards. This standard temperature model operates from 0 to 55°C, making it well suited to embedded and industrial automation systems that need reliable serial communication with up to 921.6 kbps per port.

Each port uses a 16C550C or compatible UART with a 64-byte FIFO, and the board connects through 40-pin box headers. IRQ, I/O address and serial interface are set with jumpers and DIP switches, and up to 8 boards can be installed in a single PC. Windows CE 5.0/6.0 and Windows XP Embedded are supported, and optional DB9 and DB25 cables are available.
