Description

The Moxa CA-104-T is a PC/104 bus 4-port RS-232 serial module for embedded PC/104 CPU boards, giving industrial and embedded systems four additional serial ports. This wide temperature variant operates from -40 to 85°C, suiting unconditioned cabinets, outdoor enclosures and other harsh deployments where standard serial boards would fail.

Each port is driven by a 16C550C or compatible UART with a 64-byte FIFO and supports baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps, with full RS-232 modem control signals. IRQ and I/O settings are selected by jumper and DIP switch, and up to 8 boards can be installed per PC. Driver support covers DOS, Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and QNX, plus Windows CE and Windows XP Embedded.
