The Lenovo 7XC7A05523 is a dual-port 25Gb SFP28 PCIe network adapter for ThinkSystem servers, built on the Intel XXV710-DA2 controller. Its two SFP28 ports deliver 25Gb Ethernet over optical fibre or DAC connectivity and also support 10Gb networks, giving flexible connectivity as data centre links move from 10Gb to 25Gb.

As a follow-on to the X710 10Gb adapters, it offers investment protection for 25GbE upgrades, with server and network virtualisation features, strong small-packet performance and low power consumption. Up to five combined Intel X710-DA2 and XXV710-DA2 adapters are supported per server, and when installed in a supported server it assumes that server's base warranty and any warranty upgrade.
