The ThinkSystem ST550 Tower Server is a 2-socket tower server that can also be converted to 4U rack mounting, aimed at small and medium businesses, branch offices and retail. This configuration pairs one Intel Xeon Silver 4208 8-core 85W processor with a single 16GB TruDDR4 2933MHz RDIMM, a ThinkSystem RAID 530-8i adapter, 8x 2.5-inch hot-swap bays (expandable to 20) and one 750W hot-swap Platinum power supply.

Built on second-generation Intel Xeon Scalable platforms, the ST550 offers 12 DIMM sockets for up to 768GB of memory, up to 7 PCIe slots with double-wide GPU support in slots 3 and 5, and 2x integrated Gigabit Ethernet ports. Hot-swap drives and power supplies, along with XClarity Controller management, support dependable day-to-day operation and remote administration.
