The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR550 7X04A07XAU is a 2U, two-socket rack server built on Intel Xeon Scalable processors for general-purpose business workloads. This pre-configured model ships with one Intel Xeon Silver 4208 8-core 2.1GHz processor, 16GB TruDDR4 memory and a 750W hot-swap power supply, giving you a ready-to-deploy base for virtualisation, file and application hosting.

The platform is built on the Intel C622 chipset and supports a second processor and up to 12 DIMM sockets for future growth. Lenovo XClarity Controller provides integrated systems management, and TPM 1.2/2.0 support helps secure the server. It supports Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and VMware ESXi.
