The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR550 2U rack server is built around Intel Xeon Scalable processors for small to large organisations that need reliability, strong remote management and built-in security. This model ships with one Xeon Silver 4208 8-core 2.1GHz processor, 1x 16GB 2666MHz RDIMM, a 530-8i RAID controller, 8x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA hot-swap bays, a single 750W Platinum hot-swap power supply and slide rails.

The platform supports up to two Intel Xeon processors, 12 DIMM sockets for up to 768GB of memory, and storage that expands to 16 small form factor hot-swap bays. Two integrated 1GbE ports are standard, with optional LOM and ML2 slots for 10GbE networking, and Lenovo XClarity Controller provides out-of-band management, proactive alerts and TPM 2.0 security.
