Description

The Juniper SSR440-C is a 5G Session Smart Router for medium-sized branch deployments, combining AI-native routing, SD-WAN and next-generation firewall capabilities in a fixed-configuration 1U fanless appliance. This 5G hardware-only variant includes a SIM slot and antenna connectors for cellular WAN connectivity, and is powered by an AC input through a 180 W AC-to-DC power adapter rather than the dual 2AC power supply configuration.

The SSR440-C runs Session Smart Router software, which uses session-based stateful forwarding to help reduce WAN bandwidth usage, and is compatible with Juniper Mist AI cloud management. As a hardware-only SKU, it requires a separate SSR software licence SKU to complete the system.
