Description

The Juniper SSR400 is a compact, fanless SD-WAN router with 6xGE and 2x PoE+ ports, built for small branches and retail locations. It runs Session Smart Router software to combine routing, SD-WAN and next-generation firewall functions in a single 1U fixed-configuration device, managed through Juniper Mist or the Session Smart Router CLI. This is the non-cellular, hardware only model and requires a separate software licence SKU to complete the system.

The SSR400 delivers 100 Mbps of throughput with 8 GB of DDR4 memory, 2 x 1GbE SFP ports and a dedicated HA port. PoE+ capable ports support powering devices such as access points at the branch edge, and a Zero Trust architecture with deny-by-default access control helps secure each site. Optional IDS/IPS and URL filtering are available through the Advanced Security Pack.
