Description

The MX960 Base Chassis Router with DC power is the entry platform for the MX960 universal edge routing range. This bundle includes the 14-slot chassis with midplane, two SCB-E switch control boards, DC power supplies and fan trays, plus one discounted Routing Engine, giving a ready foundation for service provider, data centre and large enterprise edge deployments.

The chassis supports 12 usable line card slots when redundant SCBs are fitted, and is built on Junos OS for routing, switching, security and service features on a single platform. Line cards and additional Routing Engines are added separately to match the capacity and port mix required.
