Description

The Juniper ACX5448-H-IR-AC-AO is a 1U fixed-configuration universal metro router for metro aggregation and 5G-ready service provider networks. This AC-powered, front-to-back airflow model provides 48 x 1GbE/10GbE aggregation ports and four 40GbE/100GbE uplinks, and includes the L2, IGP and MPLS feature set for building scalable metro Ethernet and IP/MPLS VPN services.

With up to 800 Gbps of total throughput and a deep packet buffer design, the ACX5448 suits top-of-rack metro and aggregation deployments. Its chassis has six fan module slots and two power supply module slots at the rear, and it supports Juniper's Unified PON technology for service providers preparing for 5G rollout.
