Description

The Nokia Cloud RAN SmartNIC PCIe inline accelerator is a server accelerator option designed to optimise data processing and enhance network functions in Cloud RAN deployments. It installs in supported HPE ProLiant servers such as the DL110 Gen11, offloading demanding network workloads from the host.

In the ProLiant DL110 Gen11, up to two accelerators are supported, installed in Slots 1 and 3. QSFP-DD pluggable to DAC cables (0W) are required for cabling. Installing the accelerator reduces the system operating temperature limit from +55 C to +45 C, and to +40 C when active optical pluggables are used.
