Description

The HPE MSA 2070 12Gb SAS LFF SAN storage array is a 2U, 12-bay large form factor (3.5-inch) block storage system from the HPE MSA Gen7 family. Its dual active/active controllers provide 8 x 12Gb SAS host ports per array, making it a practical shared-storage platform for SMB, remote office and edge workloads.

Each array carries 48 GB of data cache and system memory, supports RAID levels 1, 5, 6, 10 and MSA-DP+, and scales with up to nine expansion enclosures to a maximum of 120 LFF drives and 2.88 PB raw capacity. Thin provisioning, snapshots, SSD read cache extension and non-disruptive online firmware updates are included, and the array is customer self-installable and self-repairable.
