Description

The MSA 2070 10GBASE-T iSCSI SFF storage array is a seventh-generation, entry-level shared SAN storage array in a 2U rack chassis with 24 small form factor (2.5") SAS-3 drive bays. This 24-bay variant provides dual-controller 10GBASE-T iSCSI host connectivity over standard copper cabling, making it well suited to virtualisation, database and general workloads in small to mid-sized and branch-office environments.

The array supports both SAS HDD and SSD drives and is delivered without drives, so capacity can be configured to suit the workload. It features automated tiering and fast rebuilds with MSA-DP+ RAID, and is designed as shared storage for HPE ProLiant servers. Two hot-plug redundant power supplies and support for Windows Server, VMware vSphere, Red Hat Linux and SUSE SLES help keep it suitable for mixed-environment deployments.
