Description

The HPE MSA 2070 10GBase-T iSCSI LFF storage array is a 2U rack-mount, entry-level hybrid array from the MSA Gen7 family, built to deliver affordable shared storage for server workloads. This variant provides twelve 3.5" large form factor drive bays and ships with two 4-port 10GBase-T iSCSI controllers, so it connects over standard copper Ethernet cabling without needing SFP+ optics.

The array supports both HDD and SSD media, including Self-Encrypting Drives (SED), and includes two 580W redundant power supplies for resilience. Capacity can be scaled by adding up to nine additional 2U 12-drive LFF or 2U 24-drive SFF enclosures. It is compatible with Windows Server, VMware vSphere, Red Hat Linux and SUSE SLES, and suits HPE ProLiant and other server environments. Drives are not included.
