Description

The HPE MSA 2070 10/25GbE iSCSI LFF SAN storage array is an entry-level Gen7 dual-controller shared storage system in a 2U chassis with 12 large-form-factor drive bays. It delivers block storage over 10/25GbE iSCSI (IPv4 and IPv6) host connectivity, with 4 host ports per controller and 8 per array, making it well suited to SMB virtualisation, database and file workloads. The array ships without drives, so capacity can be configured to suit with LFF HDDs or SSDs.

Capacity scales through 12Gb SAS expansion enclosures, with up to 9 enclosures and up to 120 LFF drives per array for a maximum raw capacity of 2.88 PB. Active/active controllers, redundant power and cooling, advanced MSA-DP+ RAID protection and online, non-disruptive firmware updates help keep data available, while thin provisioning, snapshots and SSD read cache support efficient day-to-day storage management.
