Description

The HPE MSA 2070 16Gb Fibre Channel LFF storage array is an entry-level shared SAN storage system in a 2U rack-mount chassis with 12 x 3.5" large form factor drive bays. It ships with two 16Gb Fibre Channel 4-port controllers and two redundant 580W power supplies, making it suited to SMB and enterprise workloads that need simple, fast and affordable block storage.

Part of the HPE MSA Gen7 family, it supports SAS-3 HDD and SSD media, automated real-time data tiering in hybrid configurations, and MSA-DP+ advanced RAID for faster rebuilds. Capacity scales with up to 9 additional MSA 2U LFF or SFF drive enclosures, reaching up to 6.78 PB. Setup and day-to-day management are handled through the graphical MSA Storage Management Utility, with the cloud-based MSA Health Check included.
