The MSA 1060 SFF storage array is an entry-level 2U block storage system with two 12Gb SAS controllers, each providing 2 host ports, and 24 open 2.5-inch small form factor drive bays. Supplied without drives, it suits small to medium-sized deployments that need affordable shared storage with controller redundancy and flash-ready performance of over 154,000 IOPS.

Two redundant 580W hot-plug power supplies and dual controllers support continuous availability, while RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10 give flexible protection options. Capacity can grow with up to three expansion enclosures, and large form factor and small form factor 2060 enclosures can be mixed. Virtualised snapshot technology supports data protection and fast recovery.
